Newsletter — what data we collect and why
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect only your email address, exclusively for the purpose of sending our newsletter (news, updates, and information about our software services and projects).
Newsletter — legal basis and retention period
The processing is based on your consent given upon subscription. We will retain your email for this purpose for a period of 3 years from granting the consent, unless you withdraw it earlier.
Withdrawal of consent
You can easily withdraw your consent at any time. Simply click the unsubscribe link found in the footer of every newsletter, or send us a request at hi@renvue.io. Upon withdrawal, we will promptly delete your email address from our database.
Contact form — what data we collect and why
If you contact us through the contact form on our website, we collect the data you fill in: your name, email address, and the content of your message (mandatory fields), as well as your company name and phone number (optional fields). We use this data solely to handle your inquiry or question and to reply to you. The form is our own solution; the submitted data is delivered to us by email to our mailbox on the renvue.io domain. To protect the form against misuse and spam, we use Google reCAPTCHA; for more information, please see our Cookies Policy.
Contact form — legal basis and retention period
The legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interest in handling your message and communicating with you, or taking steps prior to entering into a contract at your request. We retain the data from the form for a maximum of 1 year from the resolution of your inquiry. If a contract is concluded on the basis of your inquiry, we retain the data for the period necessary to perform the contract and for the period required by applicable legal regulations.
Website analytics
If you consent to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymised data about how visitors use our website. The legal basis for this processing is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie banner. This data is used solely to improve our website and services and is not used to personally identify you.
Data transfer
We do not sell your data to any third parties. For newsletter distribution, the operation of our email mailbox, and website analytics, we use third-party service providers (processors) who process data on our behalf and are bound by appropriate data protection agreements. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU; in such cases, transfers are safeguarded by appropriate legal mechanisms (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses). Email communication, including messages sent via the contact form, is processed through an email mailbox operated by Seznam.cz, a.s. (the Seznam Email Profi service) on servers located in the Czech Republic (EU).
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data, request its correction or deletion, restrict or object to its processing, and lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (the Office for Personal Data Protection — Úřad pro ochranu osobnĂch ĂşdajĹŻ).
